Privacy Policy

This policy explains what SABLE HOLDINGS LIMITED collects when you use Sable, why, and the rights you have. We follow the New Zealand Privacy Act, the GDPR, and the CCPA where they apply.


1. What we collect

  • Account data — name, email, and authentication details.
  • Your inputs — the messages you send Sable and the capsules generated for you. These may include details about your household, possessions, and how you feel about them; please avoid sharing more sensitive personal information than you need to.
  • Billing data — subscription plan and status. Card details are handled by our payment provider (Stripe); we never receive or store your full card number.
  • Usage data — basic, privacy-respecting analytics (pages viewed, performance) to keep the service working.

2. Why we use it (legal bases)

  • To provide the service and generate your capsules — performance of our contract with you.
  • To process subscriptions and prevent fraud — contract and legitimate interests.
  • To improve Sable — legitimate interests, balanced against your rights.
  • To send service and legal notices — contract and legal obligation.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. How AI processes your inputs

To generate your suggestions and capsules, your inputs are sent to third-party AI providers acting as our processors, solely to produce your output. We have configured these providers so that your inputs are not used to train their models, and we do not use your private inputs to train any AI model without your consent. We maintain a list of the sub-processors we use and make it available on request.

4. Who else we share it with

  • Payment provider (Stripe) — payment processing.
  • Hosting providers — to run the service, under data-processing agreements.
  • Authorities — only where legally required.

5. International transfers

We are based in New Zealand and may process data in the EU, the US, and elsewhere. Where data leaves your region, we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses to protect it.

6. Retention

We keep account and capsule data while your account is active and for a limited period afterward to meet legal and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymize it.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete your personal data;
  • Port your data or restrict and object to processing;
  • Withdraw consent at any time;
  • California (CCPA) — know, delete, and opt out of any “sale” (we do not sell data).

8. Security & payments

The site runs over HTTPS. Payments are securely processed by our payment provider and we never store your card details. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable safeguards to protect your data.

9. Children

Sable is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
